Daihong Zhou (周代宏) is currently serving as a lecturer at the Department of Software Engineering, Faculty of Intelligence Technology in Shanghai Institute of Technology. Prior to that, he studied at the Software Engineering Lab (CodeWisdom Research Team), School of Computer Science, Fudan University, where he received his Ph.D. in Software Engineering in January 2024 under the guidance of Professor Xin Peng and Professor Yijian Wu. He holds an M.S. in Technology for Computer Applications from China University of Mining and Technology (Beijing), where he was under the supervision of Professor Guoying Zhang.

Dr. Zhou leads the Embodied Intelligence Robotics Lab (EIR-Lab). Our group centers on Embodied Intelligence and Robotic Systems, with research spanning three interconnected pillars:

  • Sim-Real Fusion-Driven Embodied Data Generation: embodied data generation, 3D scene reconstruction, digital twin simulation, domain randomization and Sim-to-Real transfer, etc.
  • Embodied Model Benchmarking for Cross-Embodiment Generalization: benchmark system construction, VLA model capability evaluation, cross-embodiment skill transfer, few-shot skill generalization, etc.
  • Robotic System Security and Intelligent Software Engineering: intelligent robotic software testing, robotic system security vulnerability, AI-driven software development, robotic software engineering, etc.

Join Our Team: I am looking for self-motivated master/undergraduate students interested in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Software Engineering. If interested in project collaboration, please email me directly.

Collaboration Invited: I also seek collaboration with professors, researchers, and industry partners whose research aligns with me or who have related projects.
